Plain-language terms for using The Docket.
Effective October 22, 2026.
The Docket is published by L&N Collective LLC ("we"), California.
The Docket is an intelligence platform for private-market deals with three membership levels. Current pricing and what each level includes are always on our Get Access page. At the time of writing:
We may add to or change what each level includes. If we make a material change to a paid level, we will tell members in advance. Content is for information and education only.
We do not accept sponsor payments or referral fees, and we have no commercial relationship with the deals we score. Nobody can pay to be reviewed, to be scored higher, or to be left out. We do not sell, broker or arrange investments, and we do not take payments for, or on behalf of, any deal. The only payments we accept are membership payments, which are processed through Beehiiv's payment processing.
We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or fund manager. Nothing we publish is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, a recommendation, or an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security. Scores are editorial judgments, not predictions of returns. You make your own decisions.
You must be 18 or older. Keep your login private. Paid access is for you only; do not share or resell it.
Paid memberships are billed monthly and renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. We do not offer refunds for periods already started.
Do not scrape our content for redistribution, republish paid content, or use the service unlawfully.
The Docket's content, scores and methodology are owned by L&N Collective LLC. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link.
Every score is built from public information as it stood on the day we reviewed the deal, and every deal is held to the same published criteria. Scores are a record of that review and are not updated after publication. When a deal's facts change later, we cover it in a later issue. Because we rely on public sources, we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for investment losses or indirect damages arising from your use of The Docket. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version. Continued use means you accept the update.
California law applies.
